This page explains the rules for using My Train Adventure. If you are under 13, please read these with a parent or guardian.

1. What is My Train Adventure?

My Train Adventure is an online game where you collect train cards, explore British railway stations, answer quiz questions, and trade cards with friends. It is made by Goodrich.Digital as a family project.

2. Who Can Use This Game?

My Train Adventure is designed for children and families in the United Kingdom. By creating an account, you confirm that:

  • If you are under 13 years old, you have permission from a parent or guardian to use this game.
  • You will use the game responsibly and be kind to others.
  • The information you provide (such as your email address) is correct.

3. Your Account

When you create an account, you get:

  • A username (you can change this, but it must be appropriate and not contain rude words).
  • Points to spend on collecting train cards and visiting stations.
  • A friend code so friends can find you in the game.

You are responsible for keeping your account safe. Do not share your sign-in details with anyone except a parent or guardian.

4. Game Rules

While using My Train Adventure, you agree to:

  • Be respectful to other players.
  • Not use rude, offensive, or inappropriate language in your username or any interactions.
  • Not try to cheat, hack, or break the game.
  • Not pretend to be someone else.
  • Not share personal information (like your full name, address, school, or phone number) with other players.

5. Trading and Friends

You can add friends using their friend code or username, and trade train cards with them. When trading:

  • Both players must agree to every trade.
  • Trades are final once both players have accepted.
  • You should only trade with people you know in real life or trust.

6. Points, In-Game Items, and Premium Purchases

Points earned through gameplay have no real-world money value and exist only within the game. You can spend points to buy Common and Rare train cards from station shops.

Some premium or limited edition train cards may be available for purchase with real money (in GBP) via Stripe Checkout. When making a premium purchase:

  • All prices are shown in British pounds (GBP).
  • Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • Premium train cards are digital goods delivered instantly to your collection upon successful payment.
  • As digital goods are delivered immediately, purchases are final. If you believe a purchase was made in error, please contact us within 14 days at hello [at] mytrainadventure [dot] com and we will review your request.
  • If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian's permission before making any purchase, and they should be present during the transaction.

7. Promotional Codes

From time to time, we may issue promotional discount codes. These codes:

  • Are for single use only and cannot be re-used.
  • Are non-transferable and tied to your account.
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with other offers.
  • May be revoked or expired at our discretion.
  • Must be applied at the time of purchase.

8. Content We Provide

All train card illustrations, station descriptions, quiz questions, and other game content are created by us. The train information is based on real British trains and stations but is meant for entertainment and education, not as an official railway guide.

9. External Links and Activities

My Train Adventure features links to external websites, including train-related activities, heritage railways, museums, and ticket booking services. These links are provided as a helpful resource but we do not control or endorse these external sites. If you are under 18, please check with a parent or guardian before visiting external websites or making any purchases on them.

10. Things We May Do

To keep the game safe and fair for everyone, we may:

  • Change, update, or remove game features at any time.
  • Suspend or ban accounts that break these rules.
  • Reset points or cards if we detect cheating.
  • Contact you by email about important changes to the game or these terms.

11. Availability

My Train Adventure is provided free of charge. We do our best to keep the game running, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available. We may need to take the game offline for maintenance or updates.

12. Limitation of Liability

My Train Adventure is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not responsible for any loss of game progress, points, or cards due to technical issues. We are not liable for any interactions between players.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will let you know through the game. The date at the top of this page shows when these terms were last updated.
