About this train
Y Ddraig Goch, the red dragon, in locomotive form. The whole engine is built as a dragon from the nose to the last carriage, with scaled red flanks, folded wings over the wheels and a long tail sweeping out behind. It breathes proper steam, and on the climb through the mountains it breathes rather a lot of it.
